This procedure restores the breasts’ natural position and firmness without significantly altering their size. However, many patients combine a breast lift with either a breast augmentation to increase lost volume or a breast reduction to remove breast tissue and decrease volume for optimal results based on their aesthetic goals.
During your breast lift procedure, your surgeon will use carefully planned incisions, which may be around the areola, vertically down the breast, or along the breast crease, depending on the degree of lift required.

Some swelling and discomfort for the first couple of weeks is normal after a breast lift. Most patients can return to light-duty activities, such as office work, as soon as 3-4 days after their procedure.
